Establishment of a formal Tapi River Basin Committee 2019-05-27
To develop the Tapi River Basin Management Plan most effectively, the Indian authorities established a formal Tapi River Basin Committee under the IEWP on 27 May 2019. The Committee brings together the Indian national level and all three Tapi States to jointly develop the Tapi River Basin Management Plan under the IEWP. In addition, the Committee involves the EU Delegation as well as the IEWP/GIZ Project Management Unit and its EU Team of Consultants to support the technical work towards the Tapi RBM Plan.
